Pilgrimages as per Pope Benedict
"I am lucky to have been born very close to Altötting. So the mutual pilgrimages with my parents and siblings to this place of grace belong to my earliest and fondest memories," wrote the Curia Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger in January 2005 in the foreword to the new guidebook for the pilgrimage town of Altoetting.
Accompany us on this path, which we interrupt with meditations on the subjects of baptism - pilgrimages - homeland – devotion to the Mother of God. Let's go together to "Our Lady" at Altoetting, to ask, to thank and to let the soul follow.

"No road is too long with a friend at your side," says an African adage.

Let us be your friend and companion on this old pilgrimage route, someone who can also familiarise you with the scenic beauty and distinctions of our Bavarian homeland.
